Sunset Tour Details

May be the most romantic and can also have a good chance for the sailing experience.

Way Point is a Lagoon 420 luxury sailing catamaran that is 42 feet long and 25 feet wide, designed for creature comfort including a much more relaxing ride when at sea, two large tables with comfortable seating all with full view of the ocean, not just portals, and huge seating area up front on the bow of the boat as well.

We will cruise the coastline with the sails up as long as the weather and conditions are acceptable. Most people love to ride up on the bow seating near the trampolines, your choice, and you can have music on our sound system, or just listen to the ocean.

Occasionally we are blessed with Dolphin sightings, sometimes they even are curious about us and swim along with us at the bow of the boat. A curtain time of the year, we occasionally have whale sightings, and of course fresh ocean air.

We will provide an Ice chest with ice and water. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. No smoking or drugs allowed on Way Point.

Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of your departure time.

Our trips start with a safety talk and then we head out to sea. On the way out we share with you information about the yacht and what type of equipment she has on board. We then shut down the engines and begin our sailing adventure.

Dress right. The temperature tends to be cooler on water than on land, and even on a nice day, it’s a good idea to be prepared for a variety of temperatures. Bring water friendly shoes that stay on your feet, and have light colored non-skid soles.

Bring Sun Protection. Sun reflects off the water and the white surfaces of a sailboat. This means you will burn much faster on a boat while on the water. Bring high SPF sun screen, a wide brimmed hat and UV blocking sun glasses.

Feel free to bring refreshments. Canned Drinks and finger foods are good. We have basic eating utensils on the boat for up to six people. Beer and alcohol are fine. Any drinks or liquids brought in glass will be served in plastic cups ABSOLUTELY NO DRUGS!!!

Be safe. Life jackets are available on the boat. All passengers under the age of 14 MUST wear a lifejacket at all times when under way.

Deal with sea sickness ahead of time.
If a guest is prone to sea sickness, be proactive not reactive in order to better enjoy your time at tour. The best way to avoid this is to not think about it, which is easier said than done. If you feel it coming on, watch the horizon and avoid going below deck. Try timing your breathing with the motion of the boat. If you are prone to this, you may want to take some seasickness medication, such as Bonine or Dramamine, two of the most popular brands Wrist bands and chewable ginger are other alternatives as well. These should be taken at least 2 hours before getting on the boat to be effective.
